Sona changes that by offering an end-to-end platform for organisations looking at unifying their Scheduling, HR, Payroll and Engagement. We do this by replacing multiple legacy systems and weaving truly intelligent AI functionality throughout. With a consumer-grade app for staff and close partnerships with other best-in-class systems, our customers have seen game-changing improvements in efficiency, engagement, and revenue growth.

Our benefits and perks

All permanent employees at Sona are granted share options in their compensation package. You’ll receive detailed info in your offer letter and a Capdesk account once you join to keep track of your options.
You’ll start with 25 days a year of annual leave (plus 10 flexible public holidays) and get 1 extra day of leave for every year that you stay with Sona.
Everyone works with as much time and location flexibility as we can offer. Most teams at Sona work full remotely, with some teams e.g. Sales operating a hybrid office/remote working arrangement. Please check the job advert for details.
We’ll enroll you in a salary sacrifice pension (via Penfold) and match any contributions you make up to 5% of your base salary.
In eligible countries, we offer ‘medical history disregarded’ health insurance via Bupa to all of our team (as a taxable benefit). We’ll work with you to find a suitable alternative if this is unavailable in your country.
Quarterly £200 budget that can be rolled over but must be used in the same financial year. Our team have used this in all sorts of ways, including taking courses in new technical skills or developing soft skills, learning new languages (technical or international), and attending meet-ups and conferences.
You’ll have an annual £300 home office equipment budget to deck out your remote working setup, with extra budget during onboarding to ensure you have everything you need. We’ll also send you a new, latest model Macbook when you start, with the appropriate spec for your role.
UK Policy summary: Primary parent and carer leave 26 weeks full pay. Paternity and secondary parent leave 8 weeks full pay. Ask us for more details.
For those outside London, we’ll cover the cost of a nearby co-working space so you can have somewhere away from home to work, and any co-working days you’d like to do with Sona colleagues. For those in London, you’ll have unlimited access to our modern, well equipped, and fully stocked office, near Oxford Circus.
Twice per year, we get the whole team together for a week of workshops and fun - preferably somewhere sunny.
This can be used for any books you buy, work-related or not. Just be sensible and don’t buy more books than you could reasonably read.
