New industry-wide analysis from Pineapple, in partnership with Sona, reveals that workforce instability in H1 may be silently suppressing peak trading performance in H2, creating what the report describes as a "delayed operational drag" on seasonal revenue.
The 2025 H2 Insights Report, drawing on workforce and financial data from over 35,000 employees across 75 national hospitality brands, uncovers a strong correlation between rolling staff churn in Q1โQ2 and weaker revenue performance in Q3โQ4, with a 40.8% revenue growth gap between high-churn and low-churn operators.
