New partnership announced with Dovehaven Care Homes

Sona and Dovehaven Care Homes are pleased to announce a new partnership.

Together, they will work to enhance the efficiency and wellbeing of teams across Dovehaven’s 23 care homes in the North West, helping to deliver ever higher standards of care for residents.

This partnership will bring Dovehaven a fully integrated, end-to-end workforce management platform covering HR, Scheduling, Payroll, and Employee Engagement, all accessible through an intuitive interface designed with residential services and frontline staff in mind.

Dovehaven is committed to providing outstanding person-centred care by prioritising the support and wellbeing of their people. As part of their digital transformation journey, they sought a solution that could unify their employee management systems, reduce manual tasks, and increase wellbeing for their teams. Their commitment to innovation was recently recognised when they won the ‘Best for Innovation in Care’ award at the Care Home Awards — a testament to their forward-thinking approach and dedication to excellence.

When choosing a new WFM provider, Sona’s platform stood out for its sector expertise and seamless integration capabilities.

Chris Conlon, Head of IT & Digital Transformation at Dovehaven, said:

At Dovehaven, delivering outstanding care starts with supporting our people in the best possible way. As we looked to modernise our digital landscape, Sona stood out not just for their sector expertise, but for their ability to offer a truly end-to-end solution. Their products, covering HRMS, Payroll, Workforce Management, and Communications, all natively integrate, giving us one seamless (contained) platform to manage and engage our employees. This unified approach plugs multiple operational gaps and brings all our employee management and engagement into a single app. It’s a no-brainer for us and a major step forward in our transformation journey.

It’s fantastic to see such a forward-looking social care business embrace their technology roadmap with conviction and urgency. We are delighted to support Dovehaven with Sona’s end-to-end WFM platform and support with critical integrations to help their tech stack come together. We are motivated to drive the same tangible ROI at Dovehaven as we have seen across other social care customers to help mitigate the increasing cost pressures that the entire sector is facing.
