Despite a relative return to 'normality', the care workforce crisis continues. Earlier this year, our 'Rethinking Retention' report found that more than 1 in 10 employees in care were considering leaving the sector entirely. We were keen to learn more about why they would choose to leave.
So we conducted 'The Big Exit Interview' - surveying 1000 former care sector staff for our latest research looking at why they chose to leave and what is attracting them to work elsewhere.
In this session, we will present the headline findings from the survey. We'll also highlight how, armed with this data, providers can implement better and more efficient people processes to maximise retention.
With over 100 industry speakers, you could easily spend all your time at UK Care Week listening to talks on pretty much all the key issues facing the industry and those working in it (but please leave a little time to come check out Sona).
That being said, here are our 'can't miss' sessions over the two days.
